September 15, 2022 – Community leaders and Nicklaus Children's Health System Representatives gathered for a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the opening of a new pediatric specialty office in Miami Beach. The center, Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists at Alton Road, offers pediatric specialty appointments, including fetal and pediatric cardiology and gastroenterology services, Monday through Friday.

Nicklaus Children's Hospital Acquires Mamava Lactation Pods For Breastfeeding Parents

August 12, 2022 – Nicklaus Children’s Hospital has acquired three Mamava lactation pods. The pods, now in use at locations throughout the hospital campus, provide breastfeeding mothers with a private, clean, and comfortable space to pump or nurse their babies.The pods were funded through iGIVE, the employee-giving fund of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.

Nicklaus Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute Receives Renewed Accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer

July 21, 2022 – Nicklaus Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute has received a full three-year accreditation from the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer, renewing accreditation status held consecutively by the hospital since 2006. Nicklaus Children’s is the only pediatric hospital in Florida to hold this accreditation.
